"Great “neighborhood” bar. Menu offers a lot of variety. Pizzas are very good as well as cowboy steak bites and meatballs w/ricotta. Bar is friendly & comfortable. They could use a better selection of tequila but they get by. Prices are fair. Highly recommend."

"We got the happy hour menu and thought the prices were pretty good for the amount of food you got. Walking by other tables, every single dish or pizza look delicious, so I definitely want to come back and try more food. Inside it was a little loud, but then again we were sitting in the bar area. They also have outdoor seating which is nice, even though it's next to busy South Washington Street."

"What a gem! Very quaint small restaurant with a low key "old school" vibe. Wood fired pizzas which we didn't try (THIS TIME!) I had the homemade spinach and ricotta stuffed pasta with most delicious tomorrow sauce and arugula. Perfectly balanced flavor. He enjoyed the special jambalaya pasta... full of seafood! It had a nice heat and EVERYTHING was piping hot at the table! The grilled bread was a fantastic touch. Im anxious to go back and try more. The cocktail list looked amazing and reasonably priced."

"Love it here!! Atmosphere is great for both lunch and dinner. Pizza is on point, the Asian tuna salad is divine, and there are few sandwiches better in all of Alexandria than the Crispy Club. Service for both lunch and dinner (and Happy Hour!) is great, whether at the bar or in the dining room. Also the bathrooms are super cute and clean and have real books (but maybe don’t read them, that’s a little weird). Desserts are great - double chocolate cake is good but definitely come by in the summer for strawberry shortcake. It’ll blow your mind. I’m not much for tiramisu but the chocolate mousse is rich and right on. Do yourself a favor, come to Frankie’s for either a drink or a food or both. You’ll want to come back - if not, let me know and I bet I can change your mind. WAIT!!!!! I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THE STEAK BITES!! Get the cowboy butter steak bites. If you get nothing else, get these. I don’t even care if you’re vegan, get these. You can even ask for extra grilled bread, they’ll give it to you to soak up the sauce. Man. The food here is legit and so are the people and so are the bathrooms. Cute glassware too!"
